Foraged Urchin Ceramic Incense Holder
Nubbly, domed, the kind of thing you'd forage at low tide rather than off a branch. Found washed up, pocketed before the next wave got it back.
Holds a single incense stick. Hand-shaped ceramic, made slowly in Australia, no two exactly alike.
Meet the artist: Lucy May
Lucy is a potter based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. She dabbles in both the classic and the cute when it comes to her pottery, with a focus on functional forms.
Specifically designed for Urganiqa's incense sticks range, each piece can be used as an incense holder while doubling as a decorative keepsake.
Every piece is shaped by hand, so small shifts in colour, texture and glaze pooling are to be expected. That's the bit we like best.
The mini bowls are approximately 2 inches, while the sculptural forms measure up to 3 inches, depending on the shape.
