Urganiqa named finalist in the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards

Some news we’ve been quietly trying to act normal about.

Urganiqa has been named a finalist in the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.

For a little fragrance studio that has been built around full-time work, family life, late nights and a rather unreasonable amount of wax on the floor, this one feels pretty special.

Urganiqa has grown slowly and somewhat unexpectedly. Today, our products are sold through a growing network of retailers in Australia and internationally, while still being made and run by a very small team.

Mostly me.

There is a particular kind of courage involved in building something while life is already full. You make things after work. Pack orders at night. Answer emails between everything else. Figure things out as you go. Keep showing up even when you have absolutely no idea what you’re doing.

Being recognised alongside so many brilliant Australian women building businesses of their own is something I don’t take lightly.

Urganiqa is a finalist in the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.

And yes, we are very much pretending to be calm about it.

We’re so proud of this moment, grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way, and quietly excited for what’s next.
